Millions of years ago, in all the waters of the Earth, billions of microscopic one celled plants, called diatoms, took the minerals from the water and created a protective shell for themselves.  The fossilzed skeletal remains of these diatoms accumulated in layers on the lake and sea floor, forming deposits of what we know today as Diatomaceous Earth. Refered by many names (Diatomity, silican dioxide, kieseque ( In Europe) Fossil Shell Flower, etc.)
DE deposits have been mined for Centuries and have been used in hundreds of industrial and agriculural applications.
HOW DE36 WORKS.
Diatomaceous Earth mode of action for insect and paracite control is, strictly mechanical. The microscoptically sharp edges contact the insect or parasite, and pierce their protective coating. They soon dehydrate and die. The larvae is affected in the same way.
This makes DE an excellent and totally natural control, with no idications of mechanical or chemical damage to the animal tissue.
It can be used as a dust for fleas, lice and other external pests by rubbing into the coat of the animal.
Both internal and external parasite control will result in: Improvement in health, appearance and behaviour.
Feed assimulatin is better, resulting in better health.
